Cellular Biology Workbook
AITSE plans to develop online and video tutorial materials on cell biology, the traditional pre-med “weed out” course. The already-written workbook is specifically designed to simplify complex concepts, to make difficult subject matter more understandable and exciting, and to augment inadequate classroom education. The online curriculum will include video lectures, and frequent use of illustrations, models, and engaging experiments to improve understanding and increase retention. Quizzes, worksheets and sample exams will also be provided to facilitate student comprehension and expose areas of weakness. This course will be scientifically objective and useful to students in both public and private universities.
Note: This is an expansion of the course that resulted in Dr. Crocker being “banned” from George Mason University because it brought such a depth of understanding, and caused so much trouble for subsequent professors who were unable to justify their viewpoints. It is also the same course that students identified as providing substantial material help, making it possible for many of them to pass the Medical College Aptitude Test.
