David Elliott, PhD, is Chair of the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Louisiana College.

Developed high performance anticalculus agent for oral care products

Studied polymeric agents for skin care (film-forming properties, adsorption, skin feel)

Team member on R&D teams responsible for development of new technologies for Liquid Detergents and Mild Soap Bars.

Developed two novel structuring systems/rheology control agents for automatic

dishwashing liquids (three issued patents, one product launched in Europe)

Developed novel hydrophobically-modified polymeric builders for liquid laundry

detergents (two issued patents)

Developed transparent soap bars containing polymeric skin feel agents and rheology

modifiers (one issued patent)

Personal Information

Native of Louisiana, Married to Bonny (three children, ages 23,  21, 18).  Interests include family and church activities, gardening, reading/writing, music, international students.
