Need
AITSE believes that we are standing at a crossroads of science today where the juxtaposition of science and science technology, with all the benefits they provide, is at grave risk. Science education is also in jeopardy and there are issues that need to be addressed if the United States is to continue to produce world-class leadership in the arena of science. The source of our concern stems from what is readily observable all around us: a deficiency in scientific integrity. We have clear and unequivocal evidence of this, starting with the lower levels of science education in elementary schools, following through high school, college, postgraduate education, and corporate practice — science is being widely corrupted by a crisis of integrity. Details will follow soon.
